COMMUNICATIONS & SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANCE

I volunteer for Asians in Animation, a non-profit global organization that strives to create space and support the global Asian animation community.

On the communications team, I helped facilitate external communication with studios to support screening event organization. Currently, I promote animation & game industry events and community announcements in our Discord server.

On the marketing team, I schedule 5-10
 weekly Instagram and Facebook posts at optimal viewing times, and engage and assist our community by answering questions and comments. These contributions have helped the team achieve an 18% increase in content interactions.

BLUE SKY ANNUAL GLOBAL TREND REPORT

During my internship at Blue Sky, I assisted the Product Development Creative team with researching and presenting global design trends and consumer insights forecasted for the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

I attended WGSN and marketing meetings as well as compiled research from product competitors, retail and e-Commerce platforms, and social media trends to gain a better understanding of current and shifting consumer interests. 

I also focused attention towards researching Gen-Z and Gen Alpha aesthetic preferences, providing the sales and product development departments with potential ideas for audience expansion.

GEN-Z TREND RESEARCH & PATTERN PROJECT

During my internship at Blue SkyI researched a variety of Gen-Z-focused aesthetic trends. Compiling findings from my research and previously administered field surveys, I created a report to aid the marketing and design teams in targeting areas of potential audience growth. 

In
addition, I designed 10+ patterns based off each trend, providing the Product Development Creative team with visual references for Gen-Z designs.

Torani Intern Growth Project

SOCIAL MEDIA GROWTH STRATEGY PROJECT

During my internship at Torani, I developed social media strategies for TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest. I analyzed their content performance, identified competitor branding and content strengths, and collected qualitative market research on current trends and influencers.

Working with digital marketing leadership, I crafted a content creation timeline and provided insight on relevant influencers, suggestions for researching trends across different platforms, and creative ways to implement fun trends into organic content. Since then, nano and micro-influencer collaborations and trend-focused organic posts have been performing well.

INTERNATIONAL E-COMMERCE RESEARCH PROJECT

During my internship at Torani, I conducted research about beverage culture and consumption in Australia, international retail competitors, and popular E-Commerce websites.

I compiled this research along with data collected from the sales team to create a thorough report, providing the international marketing team with information and ideas for B2C expansion in Australia.

CONTENT

TORANI INTERN DRINK COMPETITION

Working with the social media team, I pitched numerous short-form content ideas for TikTok and Instagram reels. 

Toward the end of the summer, Torani celebrates the interns through a series of social media posts. I brainstorm
ed, coordinated, and produced the Torani Summer 2022 Intern Drink Competition TikTok series.

Editing was done by marketing leadership.
